Ty;)Well had my surgery the 29th. No complications thank god! It was difficult when I came home sunday getting comfortable;( but thankfully i have a great support system who took my kiddos until tuesday and i had time to rest. Finally off pain meds and sipping down liquids not sick at all and started my pureed food today and had my one week post op appointment lost 16 lbs since the day i cheaked in the hospital! So far just worried about my protien and sipping is quite aggravating bc im thirsty not really hungry and when i sip too much it gets tight where the pouch is. Im hoping it will go away soon. The dr said i was recovering great and my inscsions look good. They still are sore and hurt making it uncomfortable to sleep;( im also fatigued at times anyone else get tired so easy all i did was go grocery shopping:( n im pooped;) please add me november dates;) id love to get to know u all:) xoxo anna

Hi Hpineda, glad you are doing well. My surgery was nov 28th and I am still sore and recovering slowly. I am still really tired as well. Hope that goes away soon so I can start working out. Loss 18 pounds so far.

Thats awesome i hope u get well soon;) awesome u want to work out me to unfortunately it hurts to bend certin ways my doc said 2weeks. Awsome weight loss;)

Tired and sore, also. Largely because I am only on liquids. Yet I have regained some strength, but the soreness is still there. My surgery was the 27th, and I can't boast the large weight loss yet, but I have lost 12lb, my problem is I have had a very lengthily surgery , that took about 4 hours to do. So I'm still recovering from that alone. Things have gotten better, again, my fatigue is from only being on liquids. In two weeks, I will be eating soft foods, but only at one meal. I still have to have the shakes twice a day, and manage to get in 64 ounces of water a day. Right now, all I can do is try, try try. SMILE.

Well everyone one it has been 4 weeks today! I still have my days where I get really tired but I am feeling pretty good. I've lost a total of 33lbs so far. Ya!! My clothes are falling off lol. Hope everyone else is doing great.

Wonderful

U will get there don't worry

I'm at five weeks today and have hit a plateau at 36 lbs down. Any suggestions on how to jump start the weight loss again? Walking at least a mile a day or more. Eating right.....

Maybe incorporate liquids back in a few days a week
