  1. Your protein shake alone should be giving you 200-300 calories. My guess would be that your boby is in starvation mode and is holding onto as much as it can. Try getting your calories up to 700 or so.
  2. I'm a November 2012 surgery I'm now 7weeks out and have lost a total of 45.5lbs and two pants sizes. But I'm having insomnia anyone else? Any suggestions?

  11. I had a great idea for anyone that is preop. I hate wearing a hospital gown so I took my pjs with me pants and underwear. Then I took a tank top and cut the shoulders and addes velcro. Then I could just step into it without worry of my ivs. The nurses thought this was great and no hospital gown. Ya.
  12. Well everyone I made it through. Kinda sore but not to bad. Eating pudding type foods already and home. Ya! I'm drinking alot and am actually liking crystal light lemonade. Did not like it before. My husband was such a trooper for me. He stayed in hospital the whole time and slept in a very small recliner and got up and walked with me. He's so supportive .

  15. Well I am two days way from the start of my new life. I'm pretty nervous, not so much about the surgery but about the rest of my life. I want this so bad and want to be healthy. I'm so happy that my doctor doesn't have her patients do a liquid diet. Only the day before. I do have one question for the women out there, will I be able to put a bra on after surgery?

I have met a wonderful man who wants me to be happy and loves me big or soon to be small. You deserve better no women should be treated that way.
