Met With Surgeon On Monday!

Met with my surgeon on Monday. Also met with the dietician and psychologist. Everything went great and they said there's no reason I shouldn't be able to have surgery (thank God! I drove 400 miles round trip to get these appointments out of the way.) Just waiting for insurance approval.I called them today to find out if i'm required to do a supervised diet before surgery and they no longer require it, which should speed everything up! Super exited for a new me! Looooove reading your stories. They are incredibly inspiring.

Thanks....it was actually a beautiful drive and both my husband and I really enjoyed walking on the beach while we were there! I'm super excited to feel fantastic again!

I'm keepin my fingers crossed for you! I meet my surgeon on the 21st. And then my paperwork gets submitted to insurance. I'm so nervous that I'm going to get denied! The waiting is just killing me.

Honestly....my appointment with the surgeon lasted about 5 min (and I was busy drooling over my surgeon so I don't remember much, aside from how gorgeous he was! Lol). I had about 20 min with his nurse (who had bypass a few years ago)...she asked me about eating habbits, exercise, if my friends and family were supportive...just basic stuff. She also went over the procedure and what to expect after as far as diet and recovery. The whole process has been painless and fast. Fingers crossed that it stays that way!
