One of the most difficult things I've had to deal with so far is losing my hair... My weight always made me really self conscious about the way I looked but my hair...is something I dedicate a lot of effort into because I feel wonderful when it's done. Now 5 months after my surgery I've lost almost all of it. It's thin and weak and comes out in huge clumps.
I could deal with the torture of not being able to eat a lot of the things I loved, I could deal with the pain I get occasionally even throwing up what my stomach rejects... I've lost 95 lbs and cant wait for what is to come...But losing my hair has me feeling terrible. I don't know how to deal with it.
