I miss sitting down and having a big big bowl of pasta.....

food. Just food. I'm in the 2week post op liquid phase and I just want to friggin' chew something.

salad is one major craving I've been had.. with the french fried onions on top.. mmmmmmmm!!!!

Sandwiches with lots of veggies and mayo

Thai food

sushi

and I want a big fat juicy cheeseburger so bad it hurts!

on the full liquid cottage cheese is allowed. this became my best friend during the full liquid stage

I guess I am slowly beginning to realize the foods I will need to say goodbye to! LOL

Fried EVERYTHING, and ice cold Pepsi

I miss martinis and gin and tonic but I am happy to give them up for better health.

Turkey burgers, French Fries, Potato Bread, and of course Pepsi....

BBQ! Fried fish! Onion blossoms! Chick fila leomade and Bread! I love bread lol

Five guys hot dogs & an ice cold draft Yuengling. Thought I would miss Pepsi too but I don't.

I am craving a salad & cucumbers but can't try those until February or so. Modified soft foods are the fare until the end of January. Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels (not that I'm thin...yet!)

I miss pizza and the daily specials from Baldwin Street Burgers. Oh, and Prime Rib. Mind you, I'm still only 6 days post-op and not sure if I will be able to eat prime rib because its far from lean. I'm actually in the middle of a career change because of the surgery, used to be a chef.

Not chewing as much as I have to now! Can't believe how many foods I swallowed whole! This surgery makes you so aware of all of your bad habits....eye-opening for sure!
