I love sherbet, but when I checked the containers in the grocery store they had too much sugar. My surgeon said anything over 17g will cause dumping. Thoughts? I'd love frozen yogurt from a ice cream place, but still afraid of dumping.

That's true, I should be paying attention if I go places. My 14 year old pays better attention than I do, she was out with my mom recently and they'd gone for ice cream in Harwich, she came home and said.....they had sugar free, mom.....lol. Needless to say, I want to go there before it closes.

Frozen yogurt has a lot of sugar in it if you ear more than 2-4 oz, not including toppings.

Here are the nutrition facts for Yobe. Most fro yo places are the same and keep in mind 1 serving size is 1 oz. so of you eat 5 oz that's 25 g of sugar.

Hey I live in Sandwich. Not sure about ice cream places but there's a frozen Greek yogurt pop at Stop and Shop that is great and has 9 grams of protein. FROYO I think.
