I had to share as I'm so darn excited! I had to go dress shopping tonight as a good friend of mine is having her bridal shower this weekend. I've never enjoyed clothes shopping as going into the plus size department was always such a downer; feeling so limited in choices.

Well tonight for the first time in a LONG time I shopped in a regular womens store and to my surprise... I bought 2 new dresses both in a size 14. I'm 2 1/2 months out from surgery so this feels incredible as I haven't been this small in my whole adult life!!

Wow summer congrats, that's fantastic!!!

Aww congrats! I remember for my older sisters wedding having to get a size 26 and for my other sister two years later I fit into a 12 and still had to take it in. It's a wonderful feeling!

There are days when I look at myself and say omg look at you miss skinny and then there are days that I look at myself and see the same ol big me!!! I still haven't adjusted!!

I am worrying my way through my closet too but running out of pants. So funny...this morning I put on a pair of capris to walk in a parade (100 degrees!) and a couple of hours after wearing them, I needed a belt to keep them up! Had no belt with me so I made one out of a strap on my daughters sinch sack back pack!

Also, went to Kohls & bought 2 cute shirts from the regular size section! They are still an XL, but felt so good not to shop in the plus size section!

tonight I went to the gym and during my workout I was able to jog for 10 mins without stopping, slowing down, or being out of breath. I know that doesn't sound like much but I remember a time when I couldn't walk for 5 mins without being exhausted. huge victory for me. I felt like rocky! LOL

Ok here's a non scale for me.......my husband and I are spending the weekend in Boston with my granddaughter and niece to visit my nephew....threw in a bathing suit when packing (one that I couldn't get my a%¥ into before) ...put it on to go to the pool and the thing is hanging off me lol
