just curious what people's day consists of....... sorry if similar topics

have already been posted.

and, do you diet? i know if we consume high calories we won't lose

weight..... but other than that, do you eat what you want or look

for low fat, low carb, high Protein, etc. options

this may be a good thread to get ideas for tomorrow's lunch!! lol

dinner is easier....... it's at work that i have difficulty with.... i was a

chronic 'buy lunch at work', now i bring it with me more often.

I just had an apple and rhubarb yogurt - full fat, I hate low fat yogurt, so I dont eat tons of yogurt, as the saturated fat is not that great. That was Breakfast.< /p>

I was planning on a sandwich for lunch - probably ham and salad

dinner tonight is a barbecue, got some nice lamb loin chops which we'll have with salad. Might have a small glass of wine with dinner.< /p>

I try not to eat between meals at all. I do better on a 3 meal per day, no Snacks kind of routine, once I start eating at 4pm I cant stop kind of thing, so I just dont start.

Thats an average day for me. I dont diet, I dont count calories at all and I most definitely dont do low carb. I just eat what I ate before in smaller portions minus all the Snacks and crap in between.

And whilst I dont do low carb, we have far far fewer Pasta dinners and much more plain meat and 3 veg type dinners now.

Mostly for breakfast I have a large glass or two of skim milk, sometimes I throw oatmeal in there but most mornings I am too tight for anything but liquids and I am not a huge fan of the drink something hot to eat more theory.

lunch really varies if I am working at home or in the office.. when I am at home I am very very bad because I forget to eat. So I tend to have salads, cheese and crackers with some meat, eggs, fruit and veges etc.

dinner again is just a normal meal tonight is brisket, last night was a fondue with veges, fruit and Protein.

I can still eat bread no matter how tight I get, I don't eat a lot of it but it doesn't pose a problem for me. I also tend to try and have types of food, I focus on a Protein first, then veges, then carbs. I also need to mix textures of food it seems to work better with my stomach and band. So if I am having beef, I need to have the veges with it just the beef sitting in my stomach alone doesn't work nearly as well.

Breakfast: 1 low fat yogurt, 1 tablespoon of granola and 1/2 a banana

lunch 1/3 a chicken salad sandwich, 3 dill pickles and a low fat yogurt

Supper (will be) 1 piece of chicken quesidialla (sp?), salad (regular dresssing - I just can't give it up)

snack - 1 low fat popsicle, and 1 turkey pepperette stick (50 yummy calories)

I hope this helps!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
