Thindskies

I use MyFitnessPal.com religiously. My clinic was very restrictive on their recommended plan - from what I have read here more restrictive than most. So, up until I was six moths along I was only allowed 1/2 cup of food per meal. 3 ounces of Protein and one Tablespoon of a fruit, a vegetable, or a starch. At six months I was to get 80 grams of Protein a day - that has only increased to a limit of 90 grams today. My protein normally is the mid 80s each day.

I looked back at MyFitnessPal.com, and about 25% to 35% of my calories are coming from carbs each day. My total calories a day are normally between 650 - 750, with 800 calories being my limit.

Regarding carbs, I love them! I miss them!! I have found that drinking more Water helps with the cravings. I also have not completely denied myself when there is something I really want. I take one or two bites, no more. I don't do it every day.

Hopefully you will find a way through the cravings. I have found that shear determination really can make all the difference. It is NOT EASY!! But the reward is SO worth it!

Thindskies,

I re-read your post and saw you wanted to know what I eat. A normal day is this:

Breakfast

Premier Protein shake (1/2 shake)

20 ounces Water

Mid-morning

Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yorgurt (80 calories)

1Tablespoon ground flax seed

lunch

Pure Protein Bar (Chocolate Deluxe)

dinner

Protein to get to about 85 grams for the day. This could be chicken, steak, pork chops, salmon, chili...

1 cup of romaine lettuce, four croutons, 2 Tablespoons light Salad Dressing.< /p>

After Dinner

Premier Protein Shake (second half)

Not including the shake I drink 80 to 100 ounces of water a day. If you have questions, just let me know.

Carol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
