Banana pancakes

Recommended Posts

I thought I saw a recipe for pancakes that only had a few ingredients. Now that I am on soft foods I thought I would give it a try. Stupid me didn't write it down and now I can't. Find it. Does anyone remember seeing this recipe? If you have it, will you post it? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for finding the recipe! I'm making them for one of my meals tomorrow. I have been thinking about them for the last couple of days. Can't wait!

I made these pancakes this morning. They were really good and very easy to make. I did add a little Protein Powder just to give myself a little more Protein to start the day. My one problem when I made them was they stuck to the pan a little bit. I did use some margarine (haven't had that in weeks). Any suggestions on making these pancakes without them sticking to the pan?

These are my family's new pancake recipe. My non-op wife loves them, and my 5 yr old son can't get enough of them! We make the. On the weekends, I add a splash of vanilla.< /p>

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.
