Soo, I've hit 3 months and 50lbs down. I have PCOS. During the last week, I've been experiencing sore nipples. They are just a little tender now. I've gone to my pcp and she found nothing wrong. I've take a urine and blood preg test in which both come back negative. In the past when I did have my cycles, I never experienced anything like this. Can anyone help

me as to what this could possibly be. Some people say I could be preg and it's just too soon to show up.... Idk.... PLEASE HELP!!!! And since my nipples started hurting (no other symptoms) all I've been wanting to eat is Red Beans & Rice from Popeyes chicken. I've not wanted to eat anything else. I tried a McDonalds Fish today and it didn't agree with me...

If you've had all those tests done already you can probably rule out pregnancy. Nipple pain can indicate so many things in a woman, namely hormone changes. I found that after surgery with the change in diet and increased consistent flow of Vitamins and minerals EVERYTHING changed, from my used to be very normal periods (which now seem to be every 2 months!) to my preferred taste in food (I seem to prefer salty over sweet as a treat these days) and even the amount of perspiration I have while working out. Before surgery I would RAIN perspiration while working out, now I can go a good 45-60 minutes and hardly break a sweat..I'm sure you can find more info somewhere on this site in regards to your issues, but definitely consider hormone changes. As a mother of three I know that the change in hormones can cause the exact same issues with your body as the pregnancy (probably because essentially the same thing is happening ;) ) Hoping the best for you!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
