When else have you lost an average of 14.6lbs a month? It didn't come on over night. It won't come off over night. Relax and enjoy your journey. Stay on your plan and you will lose it. You got this!!!

  • 68 here but you may not have that much to loose, we all loose differently 44lbs is no joke.

  • The less you weigh, the slower ull lose. I started at 174 (revision from band) on July 16th and am only down 18 lbs in 11 weeks. I knew I'd lose slower, being at a lower weight, but this is ridiculous

I've lost 51lbs since surgery. Today was my 3 month !

I'm two month post op and have lost 31 pounds. It's not what I was thinking if loose but I'll take it. Ive never lost 15 pound a month on my own. We are all doing great!! Keep up the good work guys. It will all come off in the end.

A 44 pound loss is great and it only gets better. Think of it this way you lost about what my 9 yr old weighs.

You guts are right. Im grateful. However I've seen higher weights Loss at 3 months so i figure Im a slow loser. I weighed in at 218 the day of surgery.

The less you weigh, the slower ull lose. I started at 174 (revision from band) on July 16th and am only down 18 lbs in 11 weeks. I knew I'd lose slower, being at a lower weight, but this is ridiculous. Yes, I could probly bump up my loss by lowering my calories, spending more time at the gym, basically "dieting", but I had wls to get away from dieting and I'm happy right now. I went from 248 lbs to 152 and if I never lost 1 lbs more ( I will, however!) I'm happy and confident of where I am.

I'm hoping to get to goal in about 6-9 more months. The last 20 lbs will be the toughest (or so I hear). The first 95 were easy peasy compared.

Yeah, don't compare yourself yo anyone else. U have no idea what weight they started at, how much they're "dieting", etc. Just keep up the good work and ull succeed!

I lost 36 pds at 3 months, I started at 220. I am a real slow loser. An it gets worse, I have only lost 2pds in the last month ughl

Thank you for your advice. I'm only eating protein no carbs, so I expected more loss but you are right, I will just take it one day at a time.

You know low BMI'ers lose slower, but so do band to Sleevers. You got the dbl whammy. But it doesn't mean you won't do it. You have an awesome attitude. You will get there.

I'll be 3 months out next week and have lost 41 lbs. as of today. I'm happy with the weight lost so far. I know I could probably have lost more if I exercised, but I'm so lazy for exercise :( anyway...I don't regret having this surgery. I feel great!

I am glad to learn that not everyone will lose fast. Last week I weighed 266 and will be sleeved on Oct. 22. I am trying to loose some before surgery. But also I am an older patient and don't expect to lose like iI did in my 20's or 30's.
