Dont get discouraged. It has not been easy.(you know my pain) I hv a bigger gut and my body is just tearing it up. I hv measured 74 oz of Water a day. Plus my Protein Drinks is low carb low sugar. We can do it!!!

Oh yeah, my whey powder is super low cal and sugar, high protein... At least compared to what I've found.

Using two different ones, see attached:

Had surgery yesterday. It was a success. I was very sore' date=' nauseous, and a little gassy. I walked a couple of times. That made me feel better each time. I also took in my Water and Protein. Not bad at all. My sleeve didn't like cold water or protein.

Today, I feel much better. Just sore in one spot. I will definitely do more walking today. Overall, I feel pretty good.[/quote']

Glad you're doing ok!!!! One day at a time

11/8 is going to be here before I know. I'm so afraid that I will regret this. Mainly because of what I think society feels about having the surgery. I'm afraid I still will want to eat crappy food in 2 years from now. My mind is going crazy. I don't want to feel ashamed for having the surgery but I already feel it a little. watch the biggest loser and I feel that somehow I should be able to. I've done it twice in the past with exercise and diet but I just don't have it in me. I'm obviously going through with it but just trying to work it all out in my head still. Vent over.

Please keep in mind that most people don't have the ability to leave there jobs for months on end to be on a TV show, and as inspiring as that show can be, even some of their contestants gain the weight back... I've done it before with diet and exercise too. I lost 76 pounds and then I gained it back and 11 more.... This surgery is a tool to help us in our journey to health. Don't feel guilty for choosing to make a better life for yourself, if you insist of feeling guilty do it over not doing it sooner! :) But I still think you shouldn't feel guilty for either. This site is great for support and if you need some extra, I hope you accept and join our Facebook group, we'll hold you up when you feel like you can't do it yourself.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
