Anyone else worried about skin?

Recommended Posts

I'm really worried about the amount of loose skin I'm going to have. I'm 5'1 & around 222. I know Tummy Tuck is always an option but that is expensive.

I'm not really worried about it but I know I will have to do something to fix it at some point.

I've kinda just come to terms with it- it's happening whether I like it or not. Lol

(I'm 25 yrs old, I do the whole exfoliation/ moisturization/ exercise/ hydration thing and whatever else... I'm nowhere near goal, but my skin is already getting loose/wrinkled)

I'm not really worried either. I'd much rather be healthier and happier. Fixing it can come later.. I'm bound to have it.. I have over 200lbs to loose!

Nope. I just worry about how I am going to pay for the plastics. I am definitely pro plastics. I figure if I start saving now, I should be able to afford the plastic when I am ready.

I'm somewhat worried about it being 5'2 and 285lbs but, I'd rather be healthy with some loose skin. :) I've also started saving some extra cash because I know I'll eventually get a breast lift + implants.

We are virtually the same size cescelli! And yes, I think about the skin. Can't really say I worry about it...more important things to worry about!!! Just take it one day at a time. I'm 59 years old so my elastic days are mostly behind me. With a lot of hard work you may be lucky and avoid a lot of the skin sag.

Good luck!!

I would love plastics. Just worried if ill be able to pay for it. I'm 23 so I'm hoping my skin will still have some elasticity. I'm very excited to be healthier and smaller. I am not looking forward to a fanny pack of excess skin..

There are a few threads with people showing pics of how they look after all the weight is gone and they don't look bad at all. I think it all just depends the person. This one girl put her pics up and she looked GOOD!! She said she didn't really work out at all, it just bounced back. Type loose skin in the search bar

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
