  3. I agree with both replies!! Each and everyone is an individual when it comes to this. I am 2 mos. out on 3/7 and I have lost a total of 27 lbs. since the day of surgery. I lost 21 lbs. pre-op. I'm losing slow and steady but my inches are the biggest loss!! Take what you can get and don't worry, your time will come and you will drop. You'll see... Good luck!!!
  4. Morning everyone!!! Do we have any Post-op sleeve truckers out there??? I am asking because I may be going back to driving this summer and am wondering how it goes while out on the road! I know most Walmarts are a safe haven for drivers so fresh food shouldn't be an issue and most truck stops have microwaves to use. Is it as simple as it sounds??? Thanks in advance for any replies!!! They are greatly appreciated!!!

  18. Join the PTA, or, become a member of a church. Not everyone that goes to church are religious fanatics! Good luck!!!
  19. I am surprised that at 18 you want such a drastic surgery!!! Also, at your age, you will have a lot of elasticity in your skin. You have age on your side. Between you and me, I have a grandson that is 18 and if he approached me about having WLS, I would try to talk him out of it unless he had a ton of comorbitities. Sorry, I'm not trying to be a negative nelly but at 18 I just think about all the years you have ahead of you to follow the regime required with the surgery. Good luck to whatever you do!
  20. Sorry but I agree! That is a gynormous amount of calories!!! My facility states, 2 oz. by 3 mos. out, 4 oz. by 6 mos. out, etc. up to 6 - 8 oz. by a year. I myself would be drinking more water and eating less. If you are getting hungry, walk or read or drink water or a zero calorie drink. Anything but eat more. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you!
  21. I was sleeved on 1/7 and feel pretty good!!! Still a little lethargic but drinking G2 and Powerade Zero make a world of difference!!! Good luck to those of you that have yet to be sleeved!!!
  22. Congrats to you and all the future nsv's you have from here on out!!!! You look fantastic and I'm sure feel the same way!!! Have fun and enjoy your new you!!! I was sleeved on 1/7/14 and am down a total of 33 lbs.
