How did u pay for plastics?

Recommended Posts

Ill try reposting my question here, how did u pay for plastics? I want to go to Mexico, I have a few docs in mind and I've spoken to one already, bit how did u all pay for it? Did it take u a long time to save? Did u use some kind of credit card? I need a LBL and a breast lift. Somebody please help! Currently have some money saved but I want to know other options... If u took out a loan, how did u go about that? I don't have the best credit either!

I used care credit for my surgery. It's medical care financing. Interest free for 5 years when a certain amount is spent.

Care Credit pays for surgery in Mexico?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you get no interest for 5 year with care credit, I have only seen no interest for 18 months?

The no interest for 18 months is for a lower amount spent. I believe it's like 3000 and under or something. I self paid my surgery for about 8500 and that amount qualified for 60 months no interest.

Does Care Credit accept anyone or do you have to qualify?

Check into doctors in the states as well. I got several quotes from Mexico doctors for a Tummy Tuck and I was going to pay more in Mexico then I paid to have it done in Kansas City. One quote was 200 cheaper but then I had air fair and hotel costs. Plus someone had to go with me or I had to pay for a nurse to take care of me. The next place in Mexico was 700 more plus the cost of air fair, hotel and a nurse or have someone go with me. So it's worth the time to check out doctors and prices before you just run off to Mexico. I paid for my tummy tuck by saving like crazy! I canceled my satellite, and I have a pre paid phone to save money. Good luck!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
