Hi Nikkoal. Im wondering how many days of the liquid diet you have to do? Can you eat jello? If you can then try freezing it to make it into a icy slushy. Maybe that will help. As for the anxiety. Try walking. I used to walk when I'd get a panic attack. Good luck.

I am also 24 hrs into my pre-op liquid diet. I am on the liquid diet for a minimum of 6 weeks. Two weeks before and four weeks after surgery. So far I am doing OK. I bought everything on my list of things I can have. So far I am finding my sugar free popcycles are my saving grace. Can you have sugar free pudding? If you mix it with plain protein powder it will help fill you up.

Hi all i, m from the uk and we have to do this liquid liver shrinking diet for 10 days!! 2 litra of semi or skimmed milk, 2 x 200 ml lowfat low sugar yoghurt. Any sugar free drinks and sugar free jelly. I, m on day 3 and its hard but just think about the end result:-D you can do it. Good look on weds :-D

I wonder about that 2 week all liquid diet to shrink liver. My doctor only requires 2 days. I think I will try to do the 10 days as well. Good luck.

It is hard. REMEMBER that you are detoxing from a high sugar and carb and fat life. It WILL get better, and usualylly is not crazy hard after 3 or 4 days.

BUT it's important, and remember that post sleeve you will need to be very much IN CONTROL of your eating. This is not magic.

Hang tough.

I read all your posts about liquid diet for like 10days or more. Mine is only for 2days before surgery. Im dealung with the hunger. Its not that I want food. Its just im dizzy n feeling sick which is causing me to have a bad headache and panic attacks. Yesterday I have about 12-15oz of liquid. I know I need more but the more jello I ate or water I tried to drink I got sicker. Thanks for all the advice and good luck wishes.

Try putting Crystal Light or MiO in your Water. I found that helps get it down and post-op you might need the extra taste as well. If you make yourself drink every few minutes, you may find you get enough hydration in (also will help out post-op).

It is tough, but post-op you will live with a liquid diet for quite a while so you may want to perfect your technique pre-op to save headache post-op. Good luck to you!!

I had a two week preop diet that consist of 2 shakes, 2protein snacks && a lean && green meal. Only yesterday was a liquid day. I was already used to not really eating that it wasn't a bad thing but for u I can see a struggle as you have to jump into it. You'll be fine!! I'm all about nothing today since its the big day. If I can do it I know u can too!!

Drink warm broth. You need the salt. It will give you a lift. I used to go to Panera Bread and get chicken noodle or French onion soup and ask for just the broth. They always were very nice about it.

Hopefully things get better for you.. just know that you are doing this to get a better lifestyle.. and it will be ok..

Today was better. Its just the evening hours.the time when I get to think and drive myself bananas. Thanks for all the support

Try walking a Lil closer to bed time so you can get tired and then drink some decaf tea to sleep. That way toy don't think about it. I know it's easiest said than done but you can do it. You've come this far.
