I mixed mine with Water and even almond milk pre-op. But the type of Protein is whey and since that's what it is made of, I just can't have it.

I love love love this stuff! I live on it! My favs are Roadside Lemonade and wild grape......helps me get Water in! Then sometimes I'll mix the chocolate truffle in with a vanilla muscle milk, banana for a nice 40 grams of Protein shake! I get mine from Amazon, and they have a program that saves you a few dollars if you get auto monthly delivery.

I think they break it down by 1/4 scoops so the caloric intake looks better........only 25 calories a serving! When yeah, most of us use an entire scoop and that makes it 100 calories lol......Marketing marketing........

Oh ok, I see now. I forgot about the whey. I love milk so I hope that doesn't happen but I will deal with what ever comes my way. It's the only option I have. :)

Lol. I didn't think about it that way. Your probably right though. I'm sure it has something to do with marketing. I'm going to order a sample pack soon so I know what my fav flavors are.

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
