Looser clothes but nothing on the scale?

So for the past couple weeks I have only lost a pound or two on the scale but my clothes are fitting significantly different. I went from a 14 to a 12, and shirts that wouldn't button on me now fit perfectly. Has anyone else experienced this physical change without any actually change in the scale number?
