I know I have messed up :(

Recommended Posts

The most important time for people to be active in their support groups is when they're struggling. Why people slink off when they genuinely need the help, support and motivation of others to help them stay on track is beyond me, but we do it all the time!

This is exactly the right time for you to put out a call here, on these forums, for people that regained and would like to lose again. There is nothing stopping you but you, and you know that. Your sleeve? It's the same size it was a year out and it's going to work for you if you work it properly.

I just posted on someone else's regain thread. You need to find support and motivation from people that are going through the same struggle - and I promise you, there are people out there that understand exactly what you're going through.

Good luck.

~Cheri

Hello! I am new to this site ' date=' but I need some help...

I had the sleeve surgery in December 2010. I did great lost over 100 pounds. My work is so busy, so I eat fast. I can eat anything. I would have some reflux but now I could probably eat a whole small pizza. I exercise but I have become very depressed. I feel I messed up my surgery. I know when I drank liquids I did great it was when I introduced solid foods that my weight changed. I am up 50 pounds. I am a mess. I am not giving up though. I was afraid to go back to my dr because I did not want to disappoint. I know when I had my initial upper GI they had to use dye. I felt great until I had my hysterectomy. Well anyway.I just need some advice. Menu ideas. Some help to stay focused.

Thanks for any advice!![/quote']

Go visit the surgeon that did your surgery.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
