Hang in there. Rest because your abdominal muscles need to bind back together. However balance this with sitting and walking so all the gads they put inside the body moves out easier. Remember to feed and hydrate well. I was sleeved in Oct 29 and taking this new life one day at a time. Tummy hurts much when I forget to rest in the afternoon for a few hours. I am walking around the house, sitting and resting. It helps a lot. Do not over do it. Listen to your body. Blessings

Today I was able to get down one and a half Protein Shakes, some Water and even walked to my mailbox and back. I feel pretty good, no gas pains to speak of. Just occasional tightness in the center of my chest where my esophagus is. But that is only fleeting and then its followed by a slight burp.

I am the type of person who never gets cold but HOLY COW when we walked outside I froze my hiney off!

My son went out with friends for Chinese and brought me home a container of wonton Soup (hold the wontons of course).

A container of HEAVENLY GOODNESS, i might add.????

That is interesting. I have felt very cold too. I'm wearing socks all the time at home. I wonder why is that.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
