Okay I'm reading great things about this stuff. I like that I hear its more of a watery base than creamy like a shake. Ill start off by saying I haven't had a single shake that didn't come back up within an hour, pre op or post op, so I think these would be great for me... BUT they are SO expensive!!!!!! Are there any websites that sell them wholesale or cheaper or something?!? I'd love to try them but man I can't afford that!

I can understand being concerned about price, but time and time again the cheap stuff ends up tasting... cheap.

If you're talking about the RTD 40oz bottles, I drink half at a time so it's like two for me (your body only absorbs 20g of Protein in a sitting).

Right now GNC is having a buy 2 and get 1 free special on them. If you buy their card for 15$ you get member rates so they are around 4.30$ each. With the sale they are about 3$ each. It's expensive, but I justify it bc I'm not eating out. A 3$ meal is better than McDonald's. try 1 first. They have a "pucker" factor that I find weird. They make my tongue feel dry.

I Guess I'm talking about the no carb bottles with flavors like grape and watermelon and orange and stuff like that. Almost like kool aid flavors. I can't find them cheaper than 49.99 for a 12 pack which to me could be a total waste if I don't like it. Can't find a place that will sell samples or a single bottle to try it out. I guess until I win the lottery ill be getting my Protein from Greek yogurt!!

Keep shopping. I've had no issue finding single bottles of these and you DEFINITELY need to sample a bottle before buying an entire case. They have a "unique" taste to them that some people don't like. I'm able to tolerate it and don't mind it so much.

You should also look into this: http://bjsbariatrics.com/product/synSamplePack.html

Lots of people here have ordered this and were pleased (myself included).

My NUT said 20g per meal but I found out later that there's a formula that will tell you exactly how much depending on body weight. People who are working out harder could probably do 30g in general.

Molly is not a fan of that unique taste.

GNC, Vitamin Shoppe, and 24Hour Fitness sell the individual bottles as well.

Agreed. My favorite so far is the Roadside Lemonade. I mix it with 16oz of Water and it reminds me of lemon-flavored Pez candy.< /p>

I have tried the Grape Frost Isopure so far. I don't like it, but I can get it down so far (pre-op). It really throws me off to have a "cheesy" flavored background in a grape-flavored drink. I bought some artificially flavored water enhancers to see if I can increase the grape flavor and masque the cheesy background.

Good luck!

Are these the same as the glass bottles that say "isopure" on them? I ordered this sample pack and can't tolerate a single flavor out of the bunch, of these nectar things. That's why I was hoping the Isopure had more of a juicy consistency.

Two different products, the Isopure and the nectar sample pack.

Try getting yourself some of the unflavored Protein powder and mixing it with crystal light maybe? People here have had good luck with that. Syntrax makes an unflavored power, I don't recommend Unjury's unflavored for this as I tried it recently and it was anything but unflavored!

Unjury's unflavored is good for warmer foods/soups/broths as long as you keep the temperature under 140.

So I've looked online all day and can not find a single place that sells less than 6 pack cases of isopure!!!! I would really just like to try one bottle!!!

I bought single bottles at GNC. They had a few different flavors in single bottles.

I'm glad I was able to try them bc they made me gag...a whole case would have been an absolute waste of $$ for me.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
