That is so true, today I took my son to McDonalds , he ate his happy meal so I ordered a chicken wrap for myself just to eat pieces of the chicken just to eat with him . after my third piece of chicken I shocked so bad that I have to walk around in addition on my desperation drank

a sip of his orange carbonated soda,, omg what a horrible experience, i learned my lesson pretty bad. Thank God I am feeling better now.., no eating fast food chicken and have to slow down :-(

Thanks !, i will buy this Protein shake , i can not tolerate the ones that I have now...thanks for the advice!

I hope you like it! I do because it feels like I'm just having a glass of orange juice........that I sip slowly!

I really like it more than other Protein drinks I have tried. I am almost done with this container and will have to be ordering another soon.

That s what I need.. I got 100% whey Protein isolate unflavored and vanilla they were fine at the pre op diet but now the are so hard to swallow.. I even got the grape sunkist shots trying to get more protein .. It taste so bad. I am running out of options hopefully my system takes easy the nectar syntax, thank for the advice.. I need to get more protein!

Hi fellow June 10th sleevers & June sleevers,

I can't believe it has already been a month since surgery. I struggle at times getting my Protein and fluids in. I find myself getting hungry often, which scares me. My sister who was also sleeved, never had that problem I need to eat every couple of hours. I can certainly take bigger drinks now.

I've lost a total of 24 pounds since surgery and a total of 37 since my heaviest weight. I am now down to 205 and I am stuck it seems. Come on onederland!!

Great 37 pounds , good for you !!

I am eating every two hours too but drinking Water or Protein shakes is so hard for me.. what is easy to swallow is sf Jello or sf pudding but no Protein on those . I get to tired eating food its so exhausting..

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
