100 calls later and I'm still optimistic for my July 15th surgery date. I was down 10lbs but now I'm only down 5. I will hear from the insurance coordinator tomorrow afternoon whether or not my surgery is still a go!! Putting myself on a full liquid diet starting in the a.m. And praying for a positive out come!!

I still can't believe one coordinator told me I was 100% covered with no out of pocket expenses and another calls a week and a half before surgery to tell me I have to pay 2,700 dollars up front!!!!!

That is a lack of communication if ever I heard one! That is awful and downright sad. I hope all is a go here for you real soon.

Major lack of communication!! I was crushed. My whole family was crushed. But the coordinator I'm speaking to now is pretty sure she can find me some wiggle room with 1,000 dollars up front and payment plan the rest.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high... But, a person can't possibly have this much bad luck can they? Lol

Wow!! Talk about bashing the family budget!! I am a firm believer that if you want something done right you need to do it yourself. (Yes, I seem to want to control everything, but can't control my weight without surgical intervention.) It never fails that I need to re-do most of what someone else is getting paid to do.
