What is the pricing for Dr. Garcia? Also what are the airports people are using besides San Diego?

The cheapest airline tickets I found was through United Airlines. Just go to every airline website and enter the dates in and they will quote you a price. :)

Kayak.com is great about pricing the major airlines. Southwest and frontier do not come up in their searches so you have to do them separately.

Dr. Garcia is $4700 and is all inclusive of 3 total nights at the marriott and two nights in the hospital..all things are covered except for air fare...they do charge this price for all BMIs up to 50 and then do a step increase after that for up to and over 70bmi. Airfare to San Diego depends on when you buy...i bought with in a month or so of the surgery and during the summer monthes, so was higher, about $400...on expedia.com....that is the airport everyone uses though...I'm actually here right now waiting for my procedure to begin! :) Good luck~

I bought thru Southwest.com and only paid $98 each way flying from Salt Lake City to San Diego. I'm pretty sure there isn't any other airport they use, because your driver will pick you up and drive you across the border. Completely safe!!

I head they have better rates if you book on Tuesdays, don't know if that's true but worth a look! Do you need a passport for Mexico or is the birth certificate & valid ID still work!?

Update....Southwest is in fact cheaper on Tuesdays. I looked into booking airfare last Thursday because I need my itinerary for surgery date confirmation & looked from Sacramento to San Diego & it was $165 one way & decided to wait to check today & tada it's only $98 each way, would think since its only an hour and half flight it would be cheaper!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
