Sleeved on Thursday June 27th...can't hold much down.

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved two days ago. I came home yesterday and I can only take small

Sips of Water so far. The nurse told me that I must get in 4 bottles of water each day....sipping some water every few minutes...all day long. Can't wait to heal up! I'm sort of miserable right now. :-(

This, too, shall pass. :)

I know it seems rough - but you'll get there! You'll soon Celebrate the pounds coming off, the ability to drink to your heart's content, and the ability to eat just a few bites of REAL food and feel full.

Keep your eye on the prize!

Hello I'm new to the forum world. I was sleeved on 6/25 and I have to agree that day 5 is a big difference from day 1 and 2. On day 1 and 2 I could not tolerate anything including Propel Water this morning I am happy to say I am sipping on a Special K Protein Shake and Hint Water. I did not think would be possible on day 1 or day 2. I'm still sore but it is more bearable. Hang in there. And continue the good work.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
