Well it happened

Four months out and I hit my first stall.

I was down 60lbs a month ago. Now it is 64. ( was 65 but gained a pound over my birthday weekend) I have been at the same weight for about 2 1/2 weeks. Not complaining as I knew this was bound to happen. Just stinks that it did. I will just keep on keeping on. This weight will come off. Guess my body just needed a rest.

I had my first stall at 9 weeks. It lasted 2 weeks. Now I'm losing a pound a day since. Very strange to me. I didn't lose it that quickly pre-stall.

Heh.. Sometimes the best thing to do is ignore it and it will go away. ;)

Consider yourself fortunate that you didn't hit a stall until then! Mine was at 3 weeks and lasted 2 weeks, talk about frustrating!

I increased my Fluid intake along with Protein and it finally budged to 3 pounds.

Now I have promised myself I am not going to weigh everyday.....hopefully it will last!

I weigh myself at the Dr's office about every 6 weeks...If you weigh yourself too much then it gets scary..Every day is just asking for disappointment.. I never weighed myself when I was really heavy and now I am doing it this way so that I don't get worried about all the little things ........

I feel so much better now and am working at the pace my body is dictating........As long as I follow the plan and remember that the sleeve is a tool..I know it will come off!!!!!

All the best!!

I just broke my stall doing the 5 day pouch test. Started it Sunday and was 192.5 ... yesterday evening i was 188.. and this morning i was 186. I was relieved and even tho the first 2 days are liquid, you see such an improvement that your immediately motivated!

I was thinking if no movement in the scale by the end of this week, I'll be giving that a try.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
