MEDICAL ID TAG

I just ordered a Medical ID Key Chain from Lauren's Hope. I think its a good idea to carry one and Lauren's Hope has many unique bracelet and necklace styles. I bought a purple dog tag style ID.

The company suggests that you put your name, Gastric Sleeve and the date of surgery, No Blind NG tube, Doctor's phone number and emergency contact.

  • Hi Alex... That's why I decided to buy a medical ID key chain. You could also hang an ID necklace on your car's rearview mirror.

interesting. I asked my surgeon about this and he said that apart from the 5 weeks immediately after surgery he did not feel there was a need. go figure. I am undecided. all my life I have been unable to wear bracelets or necklaces because after a month or so they irritate me and I take them off. Even now I dont wear a watch for the same reason. Perhaps with smaller wrists that will get better?
