Canadian January Goals

Recommended Posts

For 2007 i would love to be at the 100 lb mark by my anniversary date, which is May 26th, that means a 30 lb loss, which means i need to lose 6 lbs a month.

So my challenge for January is to lose 6 lbs., and i also need to work on my Water intake i still struggle with getting in enough for the day. I would also like to add on an excerise challenge, at least to start walking more, and work on from there.

Good luck to everyone :gluck:

Maria ;)

eeeerrrr....the 100lb mark Argon? Migawd, I HOPE that was a typo!:phanvan

I don't want to WEIGH 100lbs! But I'm gonna make it to 100lbs LOST!

That's my goal. If I did it by the end of the month, which I'm thinking is very attainable, that'll be 100 freakin' pounds in 10 months.

So, Mandi is going to weigh 184 pounds OR less, by the end of January!

Yoda,

I feel for ya gal. My ticker is wrong too! I'm beating myself up but I'm back on track. Don't know how I could have fallen off the wagon but the rich food - and even in small quantities. OK enough. My Jan goal is to lose 10! Good luck gals.

Carol: Congrats! You must be flying girl. Good luck for January.

Mandi, I'm feeding off your energy.............Do you feel the drain??

I'm sick of eating the $hit around here. You've totally inspired me with your energy, thank-you.

Not doing so well on the exercise yet. I think it is becuase I have given myself permission to listen to my doc who says 'no exercise for three weeks...' as of Monday I will have no excuse. I have been looking into my fill, just trying to figure out dates.

How are you all doing with your goals?

My goal was to get to where my ticker is no longer a lie....I'm happy to report that I am now only 3 lbs away from that goal!! LOL.

Good job, Yoda!!!

I don't know yet.... weighing on Wednesday! (haha, who am I kidding? I'll be checking on Monday, but not telling!!) The only reason I don't do it on weekends, is cause I don't wake up early enough, and I figure that'll make the difference! LOL

My goal for January is to get back on track, make my ticker true again and get my first fill. I had a rough Christmas season. Band has been wide open and I have amazed myself at the amount of crap I have choked down. Even managed to have my first few PBs from overeating. I got some raw carrot stuck and had to call the clinic from Florida because I thought I had slipped my band with all the retching to dislodge it. EEEEW. These docs are amazing. They actually call back. Won't eat raw veg again for a while. I have also realized how messed my head is when it comes to food. Sooo, no lb. goals, just want to get it together. Getting my first fill next week.

I feel for ya Nancy....the Xmas food Season would have been VERY difficult before having had a fill......I wouldn't have wanted that timing!! But, you made it and you have likely learned from it! Good luck with your first fill....hope that one does the trick for you....it does for some people!

You're doing well and it sounds like you have a good attitude...half the battle!:clap2:

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
