Is your Iron okay? I was so exhausted so took someone's advice on here and took an Iron supplement... Woke up the next morning completely refreshed!

Wishing you luck and energy! :)

I was sleeved a week after you and I'm having the fatique issue too. I started with extra Iron 2 days ago but so far nothing. I do some housework and get so tired I take a break, over and over. I'm disappointed in how little I get done. Monday I go back to work, hopefully that will help perk me up.

took about 6 weeks for me. Sometimes I still wake up tired though. Try the sublingual B12. Its helps.

I am pre-surgery. I thought I would have more energy after surgery and weight loss. :(

I am 3 weeks post op and I have been struggling with fatigue too. I also caught an upper respiratory infection in the hospital and that impaired my rest and sleep for the first week post-op. I talked with my Dr's office and they suggested boosting my Protein from 60 grams to 90 grams. That seems to have helped a little, but like you I can't even think about going back to work in this condition. I hope the fatigue eases in the next few days.... good luck and let us know if you find any of the suggestions helpful.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
