I was sleeved June 17th and had my post-op on Tuesday and am down 10lbs since surgery! I started process last June (had to switch WL surgeons then had gallbladder issues) at 319 and weighed in at 264 at post-op, so 45 before surgery and 10 post op for a total of 55!

Surgery was June 7th, weighed 440, started out at 456 when I decided to finally go thru with this...just made it to 400 this week...clothes are starting to be too big, and I can easily bend over to put on shoes and socks...not a big deal for most people, but it is a big deal for those of us who couldn't...I started way heavier than most so I expect my loss rate is going to be higher than most...

Since starting this process in October 2012 (first visit with nutritionist) I am down 100.4 lbs. 88 pounds preop, 22 since my surgery on 6/4. Don't know what's happening this week tho, I'm up about a pound since last Saturday. Started eating soft foods (my doc skips purée stage) and my body doesn't seem to want to let anything go lol. Gotta be more vigilant about getting all my Protein in too. I still have soooo much to go, but it's looking good!

Lost 20 pounds since June 3rd surgery date. Can tell alittle in my clothes. I am staying hungry about every 2 hours!

I was sleeved June 3rd also. I've also lost 20 pounds. scale has not moved since I was 2 weeks post-op, just waiting for my body to catch up with new changes. Even though I don't see a loss in pounds, I do see it in inches, my clothes are looser.

I just got home from sleeve June 27. Belly is swollen , no pain meds. Doing well with unflavored whey powder mixed with Water and crystal light drops, shaken n a blender ball cup with crushed ice. I feel like my belly is about to explode! I am full but kinda hungry it is weird. Don't dare get on scales yet just trying to settle in. Had surgery with Alvarez it was interesting.

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
