My problem now s I am so tired. No energy. I am sleeping ok but can't seem to keep up with my schedule. Anyone else have low energy?

I'm pre-sleeve, but from what I've seen on the forums, it's pretty common to feel tired when you're still healing from your surgery. Just one question about your Vitamin routine; does it include sublingual B12 tablets? I've found those really helpful in increasing my energy pre-op--and believe me, I usually am groggy till noon, and exhausted after noon! Three sublinguals a day has helped me immensely; I've even been able to completely give up caffeine. Be gentle with yourself, you're still healing. Good luck!

I am within the first week and am tired. But little discoimfort and no nausea, so naps sound fine to me...

What you are describing sounds within the realm of normal to me. It's pretty common to have low energy after any surgery, but when you factor in the sudden drop in calories, it's no wonder. I was exhausted all the time for the first 6 weeks, (in the early days, I had to rest after a shower, and I remember a day or two I was so weak it was work holding my head up) but it was steadily improving after the first 4 weeks. Just keep doing what you are doing, and it will get better!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
