Thank you do much!! It definitely has been fast, which scares me! I'm so afraid of failing again that I am watching every single thing I put in my mouth!! Saw my Dr today and he said I'm doing great. That was good to hear. Where are you in the journey? Sleeved yet?

Thank you!! I lost the bulk in the beginning because I didn't have an appetite for anything!! That's changing now that I'm 2 months out so I'm sure the loss will slow down.

Thank you!! August is right around the corner! I know it's scary but it is worth it!! I have tried everything else under the sun. This was my last resort and it has worked for me. I've changed the way I eat and now that I SEE results, I actually want to workout!! I wish you the best on your journey!! You will do great!!

Have you been sleeved or thinking about it? If you're thinking about it, I can tell you it has worked for me. I've been overweight my entire life and have tried every method on earth to lose weight. It is scary but for me it was worth it. My health has improved and I feel great!! I haven't had Hair loss. I've heard alot of people say they have lost hair so I try to get in plenty of Protein and take prenatal Vitamins (even though I'm not pregnant)!!

Hi there and congratulations on your surgery!! I was VERY cold!! The nurse explained it was normal (make sure you don't have a fever). She said its from the anesthesia and lack of calories. It got better for me after a couple weeks. I haven't had any Hair loss but heard others have. I take plenty of Protein and prenatal Vitamins (even though I'm not pregnant). Wishing you the best on your journey!!

Good to know thank you. I started my Vitamins and Calcium today. They taste awful and I bought enough for three months! I was told to take Biotin for Hair loss so I hope I do ok. You look great! Can't wait to start sheeding off the pounds jajaja!,,,

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
