This morning I decided to organize my closet and bring some summer things out. I realized, as I was going through my winter stuff, that I will NEVER wear those 26/28 winter clothes again! My surgery is scheduled for 6/25!!! I began to pull my winter stuff out and bag it up. I had some second thoughts.. maybe I will need it.....then I decided to let myself believe it could really happen this time. My entire winter wardrobe (minus one outfit for comparison later) is in big garbage bags ready for donation. YIPPEEEEEEE!!!

I just did the closet clean out, also. Got rid of all but one outfit. Kept the outfit I wore for my before picture at the bariatric center. I never want to see a size 20/22 in my closet again. We can do this! Surgery in July!!!

That's awesome. What a concept that I can get rid of my winter wardrobe.??? I'm scheduled for 6/27 and will never wear those clothes again! I feel like my head just caught up with my surgery plan. I've been so focused on making the decision, I haven't slowed down to visualize the results yet. I'll work on that. Anyway, I've got some nice business clothes and I'm going to find a charity that will help professionals get started (or something like that).

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
