Revision done on Monday Home today, feel great!

Recommended Posts

I had my revision on MOnday at Lehigh Valley Hospital. I ended up having a hiatal hernia that he repaired while he was in there but everything went great. I had to stay until today because after surgery my bladder always shuts down for 4 or 5 days so the worst part was getting cathed 5 times in the past three days. The pain was not bad at all and I had minimal gass, Just a little sore when I get up and down. I am so happy my band is gone, and ready to start my life being sleeved.

Glad to hear that you are doing well. I will be getting my band to sleeve revision on June 10th. I hope my surgery goes as well as yours. Take care and keep me posted on your progress! :D

I had a revision surgery on march 19,2013. It was simple. I had complications with the band( was banded march 2008). Lost 60 lbs but was deflated.mi have lost 40 lbs since the revision. I had the surgery on a tuesday and was back at work that Monday . The best thing that has happened to me!

Happy to hear you are doing so well.. I am having my revision on May 28th and getting more and more nervous the closer the day gets. I am having my cardiac clearance on this Monday and History & Physical. Getting all my ducks in a row.. I am so praying that my journey is smooth sailing.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
