  • Popular Post

Hello all! I've been reading the forum for the past couple of months, thank you all for the great advice and sharing your experiences. It's been very helpful and informative! I met with the surgeon a week ago today, my surgery date is June 26. Anyone else for June?

I am gonna try to just focus on getting through each day and trying not to harp on the fact it's gonna last two weeks!

June 12 for me! I have my first pre-op on Thurs for 3 hr w/ the nutritionist and then again 2 hr Fri. I figure I will make my list then. I am just glad all the clearances are done! I will keep in touch.

I'm also 6/11 & I'm nervous about the preop diet bc I work in a manufacturing plant & have loooooong hours but WE CAN DO IT!!! :)

What did you all buy for your preops? I just need protein powder, broth cubes, and jello.

I'm more concerned about the first few weeks post op- my grocery list is getting long. Vitamins, teas, cottage cheese, blah blah.

Pre-op Appointment was today, I am so excited and afraid at the same time...My pre op diet starts the 27th. Popsicles, juice, tea, chicken broth, beef broth, low fat strained cream soup and tomato soup ..omg! I can can do this I can do this....
