  4. I stalled at one week out too and I was freaking out! It's hard not to even though you know ahead of time that these things happen. It was also difficult for me to believe I would start losing again because that stall lasted several weeks! But I am 6 weeks out now and have lost 45lbs (17 pre op) so try not to worry! I know, easier said than done

  7. Omg I was about to start this thread today and then saw this! You and I had surgery the same day and past three nights I've had trouble falling asleep due to bad heartburn! Never had it before surgery either. I'm interested to hear what your doc says. I see mine next week

  9. I went back to work yesterday and both days I made the mistake of sitting and leaning forward for an hour or so while I talked with a patient, and I could barely stand up afterwards. My belly was so sore. So I can't imagine doing that for 11 hours!!
  10. I went back to work today

  12. I'm trying not to freak out too!! We have to find other activities to distract us! And/or hide the scale
  13. I make sure I drink two premier shakes a day which are 30g each. One when I first wake up and one at night. Then with my quarter cup of cottage cheese or whatever else I may eat, I usually end up around 65-70
  14. Mine started at the beginning of week 2 though. But I, too, am trying to find other things to fill my time. I knew this would be an adjustment but I had no idea how much until I actually was living it! I know I'll make it. It's just gonna take time. I joined the gym the other day and will start Monday. That should distract me a bit!
  15. I found this tomato soup from target that is delicious! But I also am afraid to eat what I'm allowed to eat! I haven't lost past four days so I think now well I must have eaten too many sf Popsicles etc etc..
  16. I am going through the exact same thing. Physically, my recovery has been good. But mentally I've struggled these past four days or so. I am hoping this passes soon and it's just hormones being released!!
