Taking all vitamins at once?

Recommended Posts

I wake up every morning at 3am for work and was wondering if I can take all my Vitamins at once in the morning. Someone told me that it's best to split your vitamins and supplements up throughout the day but my work schedule doesn't allow me to stop and take my vitamins throughout the day. I would rather just take them all at one shot. I take a liquid multi, liquid Iron, zinc chewable and B12 drops. Thanks in advance :)

There are Vitamins you can take where it's an all-in-one pill. The one I take is opurity. Good luck.

I may be wrong, but I think that you are supposed to not take Iron and Calcium at the same time because they interrupt one another. Anyone know details?

The Iron and Calcium at the same time is the only combo I think is a no go.

But it doesn't look like yoú're taking calcium yet.

The iron prevents calcium absorbtion or at least that's what my peeps said:)

yea I take calcium Creamy Bites but they are 500 mg each so I take them at 8 hour intervals since we can't take more than 500 mg at a time and my doc told me I needed 1500 a day.

I'm not sure the time frame on the iron/calcium combo:(

Maybe some post-op people will know the answer to that one!

But since you're taking at least 2 of them at other times of the day you'll still be getting most of it absorbed:)

I like to think in terms of good, better, best... it's GOOD to take your Vitamins all at once.. but it's better to try to divide them if you can.... if you can't, then settle for the good, at least you know you're getting them in.. but do remember about the not combining Iron and calcium... I take my iron just before bed that way I know there's no conflict.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
