Liposuction Fun

Recommended Posts

I'm so excited that I had to post! February is the magic month for me. I'm going to Pasadena and they're going to liposuction and contour my entire torso, front and back (except for my boobs, of course). And THEN they're going to remove the apron of skin at the bottom of my stomach. Not getting a Tummy Tuck, just skin removal after the Lipo. Apparently that's how they do it if you haven't had kids yet. The doc and I both figure I'll be about a size 6 or 8 come March!!! (I'm losing another 23 pounds before the surgery). I think I was 2 years old when I was last a size 6. This is a dream to me. I started off at a 26/28!

Probably at the same time I'll be getting a nice breast enlargement (done through the belly button, of all places). They didn't end up sagging after all the weight loss, but they were always small - they're just even SMALLER now! I wanted to go to a small "D" cup. Is that too big? Anyone have an opinion on that?

I realize I've gone overboard with this weight loss. The family is a tad worried about me right now, in so many ways. I keep losing at a rate of about 3 pounds a week because I just don't eat (no desire) and I exercise hard for about 2 hours a day. I have this crazy tenacity when I set my mind to something, even if it's sometimes to detriment. But right now, to me, the loss is SO worth it! Plus, I might be getting married pretty soon, and I've got my eye on this gorgeous vintage dress that happens to be a size 8, in our sizes (crosses fingers!).

I think you are doing great. My personal opinion on the boobs, is go for a nice C. I personally think proportion is nice. I don't like to see a small frame looking like she is going to fall forward.

Good luck to you, not that you need it. You are doing wonderful!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Jules. When I see a small person with extra large perky boobs, I think "now that just looks wrong". (living in So. Cal. I tend to see quite a bit of boob-jobs) Go for something more natural. If you have always had smallish boobs, a C cup is rather large. It is difficult to find blouses that fit properly. The buttons on the front spread out and show the world my bra. Lovely. I have always wanted smaller ones.

But I guess we all want what we don't have. (always wanted curly hair. Mine is just wavy) Do what will make you happy in the long run. Can you imagine being 60 yr old granny with giganamous ta-tas? (shivers)

i say go for whatever you want. i recently had a breast reduction because mine were so saggy....when i sat down they touched my legs...ick!! i wish now i would have had a breast lift in stead of a reduction...i feel like they are too small now

i am looking forward to the Tummy Tuck someday as well...you go girl...you look fabulous : )

My best friend is 5'10" and very slim and went from a large A/small B to a regular D cup and they look very nice on her. I think it depends on how you are built as to what you can pull off. Have you tried on the bras to see what size looks right and feels comfortable? I am also going for the apron removal this coming summer. At my consult the doctor said there was no reason to do the full TT, since I have never had children the underlying ab wall is in great shape. I also need to lose about 20 more pounds before I get that (and a breast lift) done! Isnt it exciting! You have to share pictures when you have healed up some afterwards!

*edited to add... I also dont want a reduction. I have been a size D since junior high at 125lbs, busting out of DDs when I got fat. I am back to a 38D but I really have to depend on GOOD bras to hold them up where they used to be! Bust size is just one of those things....I have always been chesty and cant imagine being smaller chested, I just wanted them higher and perkier again!

Hmmm... some things to think about. Maybe a C would be best. I don't want to be huge, I just want to be proportionate - maybe a little bigger than that. Hehe. Boyfriend wants a little bigger than proportionate, too, but he's not the one who has to live with them. I still want to be able to jog comfortably and maybe a C is what will make that happen.

I'm 5ft 10 and an E cup and people go goggled eyed if I tell them that, not that I go round talking about how big my boobs are, lol.

But they go goggle eyed because they cant believe they're that big - on me they just look like regular breasts, a nice size, although I'd love to be a bit smaller, a D cup just so I can buy any bra I want would be PERFECT.

Very best of luck to you, you've done soooo well and you're looking fantastic already.

My friend was told by her doctor to put bird see into a stocking and put them in your bra. By this you can see what a C cup or D cup would look like and if you could live with it that size. She actually put the bird seed into her bra and wore it until her surgery. She was petite, about 5'5 and she was not happy with a C cup. She had wanted a D cup, but her doctor put in what he wanted. They also tend to get a little smaller after swelling goes down. It does depend on your frame. I had my skin filled with a D cup. I had always been a D, but breasfeeding sucked all the fat out and left me empty Teets!!!

I am very curvy and have a large backside, so the D cup look better proportioned than if I was smaller. Also, weight loss makes th em smaller too.

Hope this helps! Audree

I too am 5'9. I am not banded yet, but will be soon and hope to be doing the same thing you are when I reach my goal weight...lipo, Tummy Tuck, and boob lift.Whew!

I am a small D right now, but when I weighed in the 175-180 zone, and exercised a lot more, a few years ago, I was a C. Yes, the girls do move a bit when you run, - C or D - but it's nothing a good sports bra (or two, as some woman I know do) can't handle. Plus, I think yours will move even less since they are implants. The few woman I've known that have got implants did the C thing... ("I don't want to be huge") but when they were done and the swelling subsided, they wish they would have went bigger. :) The bird seed thing seems like a good idea. See what you feel comfortable with, talk with girls that are D's, C's, that have had implants...etc, and see what they think. Good luck!

Personally, I'd go with D's :)

Would you mind passing me "D" cup over there please, lol.

D's girl! D's and wow at all the work you are doing. I'm happy for you and you'd be my size after your surgery. You'll be a very happy camper. I can't imagine what size everyone close to goal would be once they've had a Tummy Tuck. I'd imagine 2 sizes or so smaller.

I am a natural size D always have been, however I have always been the "full figured" type. Meaning that my hips are also round, so if my boobs were ever smaller I would look like a pear. Even at 145 lbs., I would look "fuller" than my "boy" shaped friends at the same size. I don't mean "boy" in a derogatory way, they still looked very cute its just a different shape.

I didn't really see body stats so I would base it on your hip shape. If they are fuller then I would stay with a D. If they are "boy" shaped then I would go with the C.

Hey, thanks for your feedback, everyone! I will definitely try the seed trick. Also, my hips aren't large, but my waist is small, so I think a large C might do the trick (which you get at a size D at Victoria Secret anyway!). My BF doesn't have to live with wearing the boobs, so it's my decision!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
