If I wasn't such a lady I would cuss you out right now! :o

Speaking of ice cream' date=' I went grocery shopping today (not fun) and I noticed the ice cream section is overflowing with "healthy" choices

Haha what a marketing scam![/quote']

I'm smilin right now bc u are so funny. Think of ice cream like a bowl of lard. Yep it's a big bowl of lard. We've worked too hard to get where we are right now. We've all done really good and will continue. But we can sure dream about it. :)

Haha.. My nana used to say that about Oreo Cookies (my favorite cookie) to me!

And used to tell her "I don't care if they were made out of rat guts, I like em"

But she and you are right :) and I'm sitting pretty today not even thinking about ice cream!

Hey my nana used to tell me I was one "smart cookie" too! What the??? Was she saying I was as dumb as lard? :o:P

Oh the Protein bars!! Those will be the death of us! I had to eat all of mine just to get rid of them!

Hehehe... On a good note they are gone and I will not be buying them by the box anymore at costco, just to tempting and easy :D

Yeah, I have Protein Bars on the mind often too. Cut em though! I can't eat them ( the chocolate ones) because they make me want more. My favorite deserts were oatmeal raisin cookie, Oreo cookie, apple fritter and old fashion donut ( or holes). They were so yummy. Now you are probably wishing you had one. :)

OK you guys!

I haven't seen this on here in while, but you may already know it. A frozen bananna makes a great ice cream like snack if you cut in rounds before freezing and the run it through a blender or food processor. I use one of those tiny food processors that holds about a cup. It looks rough at first, but just keep pulsing it and scraping it down and it will magically turn creamy and yummy.

As for waffles, I eat the Nutrigrain or Vans Whole Grain with sugar free Mrs. Butterworths Syrup and 1/2 banana cut in rounds.

Jump Planks. That sounds too much like burpies. I'm still traumatized from doing them in 8th grade PE.

Thanks for sharing this link! I may have to modify some of the ingredients (would almond milk work in it, I wonder?) but it sounds worth it!

You need the fat in the soy milk to make it an ice-creamy texture. It's really good and the ingredients are basically the same as a Protein shake.

What the hell was I thinking?! You can shout it too, it's okay. I deserve it.

Yesterday it was a beautiful, warm day full of sunshine and such. I stayed outside as much as possible with my puppy and we enjoyed NOT focusing on things like loneliness, an empty house, and food temptations.

Today it is a typical Pittsburgh day. Cold, grey, and it's raining. I'm feeling the emptiness of the house even with the puppy napping peacefully. All I want is comfort. And wouldn't you know, I reached for that damned box of waffles that has been in the freezer for over six months. (Can we say Eww?!)

I toasted one waffle, measured one serving of low-calorie butter substitute and .25 serving of Syrup before it hit me that I was eating for comfort. A waffle with butter and syrup would make me so ill and offers no nutritional value-WTH?!

So, I tossed it all into the outside garbage bin. The box of waffles from the freezer and the syrup went as well- just for good measure. I'm still lonely and the weather is still crappy but at least my insane addiction didn't win this time, so it's a victory I'll happily claim. :)

You are a good writer, fun to read your posts. Stay strong, one day you can eat a waffle, with a little syrup....although you won't be able to eat much of it!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
