Thank you and congratulations on being a week out soon. I have been looking around on here and have read great things. I have been looking to find more before and after photos of people that have had the sleeve done.

Tues the 16th is my day. 8 am sharp! Well, we all know what "8 am" means in hospital terms: means get there by 8 but wait all day because every surgery has run over.

Anyone else on Tues? I'm having band to sleeve revision

I'm having a revision on Tuesday also. Scheduled for 7:30 am, have to be there at 5:30. Good luck

I go Wed the 17th. Trying to get the house cleaned and everything in order so I don't have to worry about it when I come home.

Well I am sitting in my Hospital bed as I type!! I had the sleeve at around 10:30 am today with my Dr here in Mexico and I want to just say how truly great of an experience I have had here...

First the trip acroos the boarder was get and the hospital was maybe 10 mins across.

Very clean, they are renovating but it's still very clean.

The lab work went great, I am a Medical laboratory technician and I started out as a Phlebotomist so I know all about drawing blood the lady here gets a A++++!!!! Didn't even feel the needle go in!!

The nurse, gave me the IV and hit it perfect the first try, every time I've had an IV in the states it's been hell and they took 4-5 times poking me, but not this lady!!

The Dr himself.... Wonderful does not even start to describe him, he is amazing and so is his assistant Dr! Great Great Great!!! Still not enough but it'll have to do.

The procedure, must have went great bc I was up and walking ASAP!! I was ready to walk but they wouldn't let me at first, but buddy it didn't take long and I've been making laps around the halls! Dr said I was doing super well and beyond his expectations!!

The assistant we started out with this morning is totally the best!!!! She will be back in the am and I glad bc she has literally been wonderful!!!!

No pain, no hunger, nothing but energy!!!!! This describes my feelings best! Seriously proud and extremely happy!!! I would do this 1000 times over!!!! And nope, I'm not asking for pain mess!!

Can't wait to get home to see my kiddos and start my new wonderful journey in life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck Devine !! My surgery was on Wednesday and I am still in lots of pain, Just taking it one day at a time

I'm Tuesday and a band to sleeve revision! We'll have to keep in touch!

Tomorrow is the day! Have to be at the hospital at 930 am. The biggest challenge tomorrow is not to let my son see me cry when I drop him off at daycare. I've never been away from him for more than a day and I am nervous about anesthesia...

Hey everyone. 5 days out and I feel great. The pain is gone all but a bruised belly. Keeping all liquids and protein down. Going out to a birthday dinner tonight. Soup is on the menu for me :). Feeling really blessed right now.

So proud right now. I'm at the mall courtyard. The man is having Taco Bell. I'm having a cold Isopure from GNC. I am a beast:)

Rock on!

Day 2 in hospital' date=' the pain is minimal, it's just the gas I been walking up and down the hallway, had issue once the cath came out it was 10 hrs later that I was able to urinate. I have had sugar-free Popsicle, chicken broth, water, crystal ligt. Had my leak test this am everything was good. So home I go on Sunday.[/quote']

Just weighed myself first time post op and let me tell you did a bit of a happy dance! Down 25 lbs!! From weight before liquid pre op diet till right now!! Was so shocked scale stopped so soon.. Motivation to keep going strong ...
