  11. Almost a year out from surgery. Started at 258 and am now 166. For the first time ever my older sister (who's in the pics) is started to get worried that I may start stealing her clothes lol.
  12. Hello! Does anyone know of a good plastic surgeon on Long Island? I want a tummy tuck and to re-inflate the girls.
  13. I live on Long Island and would be interested in attending
  14. I am almost 8 months out from surgery. Went from 258 to 177.4. 80 pounds lost! I have about 25 pounds to get to a healthy weight, but now focusing on exercise so I can tone up and gain back some muscles!
  15. As of this morning I lost 80 pounds! I was sleeved on July 15th. I went from 258 pounds squeezing into a size 24, to 177.4 and fitting into a size 16, and some size 14! Weight loss is going much slower now, but I am happy with my weight and am working on exercising to get super healthy!

  17. I am down 78 pounds and about 20 to go. My mind has not comprehended that I have lost weight. Most of the time I still see the morbidly obese girl in the mirror. Hopefully I will start to see what I really look like more soon.
  18. I've been scared to try salad. I am six months post op. I have had shredded raw cabbage and it made me very ill. I think I may try a salad soon though because I do love them!
  19. I was just looking at the website. It looks cool. If I dressed up more often I would definitely consider it.
  20. I'm just a regular vegetarian. I eat dairy and eggs but not meat fish or chicken. I've made the eggs in a muffin tin, they are very yummy! I can only take one day of eggs before the sight of them makes me sick.
  21. Hi! I am 6 months post sleeve. I have been having protein shakes for breakfast since I was sleeved, but my dr isn't a fan of shakes and wants me to try to eat real food. He also believes in low carb and no white stuff. I get sick of eggs quickly. And while my sleeve and I are getting along fairly well she gets a little testy in the morning so I can't eat anything too heavy. Also my dr doesn't want me to eat anything mushy like oatmeal or yogurt. Anyone have any ideas? I am nut-less because the one I had was useless. Thanks.
  22. I am 6 months post op and I can eat popcorn non stop. It's the only food that my sleeve doesn't seem to notice I've eaten too much of. I try to stay away from it.
  23. I am having similar feelings. People who gave me dirty looks before the surgery, now find me acceptable to talk to. In my situation it's no one new so I am polite (my child is usually with me) but walk away.
  24. I am 6 months out and my hair was falling out like crazy. Luckily I had a large amount of hair but seeing so much fall out was depressing so I got it all cut off and am now sporting a pixie cut. The hair falling out is hardly noticeable with it this short
  25. If I get overly stressed my pouch will not allow me to eat. But I can drink my protein when stressed.
  26. I had gotten coleslaw as a starter at a diner made me vomit, had to run out of the diner before my son even got his meal. Luckily I made it home before I started vomiting and got the spins.
