I'm happy to hear all is well Phoenix79... And another perspective Post op. Love the slippers. I'm on a count down for this Monday the 8th!

How exciting! I'm sure you'll do great! If anybody else likes the slippers too, you can get them at Amazon.com or thinkgeek.com (awesome site for all things geek). My surgical team loved them! :) First full day home today and I've successfully drank 60oz of various flavored waters, and had about 37g of protein in shakes...going to have protein added bariatric cream of tomato soup for dinner. Plus I've walked outside 2x already. Things are going smoothly so far! Tomorrow my mom is driving me to a large plant nursery where we can browse the plants and I can get some walking in- they have lots of trails. Looking forward to getting out of the house!

You are doing great and it makes life for us counting down the last days a little easier! Thanks :-)

Ok nerves are here. My surgery is in the morning. I will record a blog before and after but won't get it up on my YouTube channel till I get home. I'm scared. I can't believe it is finally here. Went by so fast.

See you on the Losers' Bench in no time, Twsport! You're going to do great. Please check in here when you feel up to it!

I am going to be sleeved on the 11th. I am ready, but still super nervous. I have a huge hiatal hernia that they are going to fix while they are in there.

Hey just want to check in I have been on my pre op diet which consists of two protein shakes one for breakfast one for lunch and meat and veggies for dinner since June 25th and I I was doing great until the holiday. I had some baked beans and potato salad! I am back on track today of course but one thing I noticed after my carb encounter yesterday was that during my morning workout I felt crappy!! It was so hard to get through my workout i mean it felt like i was exercising for the first time ever! So far I've lost 9lbs but I am going to definitely watch what I eat from now on.

Getting back on track is the key. All the best to you. Keep us posted.

My pre op diet is liquid only... I didn't cheat yesterday but I did eat a few pieces of salmon Nigeri (spell?) no rice just the raw salmon so I think it'll be ok... High in protein!

I was sleeved July 1st! Had a hard time with nausea afterward something that always hits me when I am put under. They gave me lot's of meds but had a reaction to the pain meds as well. Was weaned off both once I did that I felt 100% better. No soreness with exception of one incision. Other than that I feel great. I started walking the hall way, got home the next day and still walking our neighborhood. On clear liquids for 1 week after surgery. I even went to the antique mall today and looked around. I am back at work on Monday. I feel overall great. I am excited to watch the lbs come off more and more........
