Hi I believe that I am having a JULY surgery its either the preop diet on the 4 th of JULY or the surgery soon after either way I can't wait ....It can't get here soon enough....Right now Im on mnth 3 wk 1 of my 6 mnth diet I've lost abt 10 lbs and holding really 15 bc I lost 5 lbs before I started going to the dr.'s office to get my weigh in's....I got around the surgery time from my surgeon's nurse.....So it will be very close to this.....I still weigh abt 245-247 lbs Im 5'4" Im looking for some new buddies around my time period maybe we can keep in touch w/each other some......

I just received the APPROVAL CALL today at 5pm said my surgery is JULY 24th.....thats all I know for now.....and that my labs will be a week earlier

I live in ARkansas and medicare does pay for the sleeve here......

I also HAD to get a second opion for my eval once a phycholigist and 1 phychiatrist I see the phychiatrist every 3 mnths so I do see him and know him better so he thinks now its up to the surgeon ya I was wondering bc I hated to just stop right there after comming so far (I thought) Im still so far way I think.... Its been almost 2 mnths since my seminar I have my labs done also I cant wait for my CONSULT Im still awaiting for it.......

(2013) I am needing some new friends Im a newbie just started on here I also have a page on facebook that I just started called MY WEIGHTLOSS ADVENTURE please like it I really need more likes on it....... anyways Im just starting Im on mnth 2 week 1 of my 6 mnth diet then its a 14 day preop diet so probley abt Juneish.......Im looking forward to haveing the SLEEVE surgery I cant wait...Its real hard for me to lose weight by myself.....I started out weighing 260 lbs and now I weigh 244 lbs so thats a little loss they want me to lose 1 lb per wk=4lbs per mnthx6 mnths =24lbs before surgery I really hope I can do this bc I really do need the surgery I cant lose 100 lbs or more without it even if its just close to 100 lbs I should be happier......(My profile picture is the same on here and facebook)......

Im also hopeing for a JUNE Date right now Im on a 6 mnth diet so far Im on mnth 2 almost wk2 monday today is friday my 6 mnth diet will be over with in May or JUNE but I have a 14 day preop diet it can be July if it needs to be AFTER THE 4th of July abt the 8th and I will have time to prepare myself

Im also from AR I live in Heber Springs and I on a 6 mnth supervised diet so far im on mnth 2 wk1 almost wk2 monday today is friday I will be using Dr. Mark Gibbs in LR at Baptist Hospital in LR not NLR but LR maybe we can be friends and email each other some day or chatting on day.....anyways Im planning on haveing the sleeve done in June or Aug 3013 but not July thats ny vaca mnth and I dont know what I will be eatting or where right now last yr it was shrimp the whole time I was there but it was great from the gulf but I dont thing I can eat that this yr might not get to eat it for a very long time if I get to eat it at all......

Now I dont FEEL as Bad I started at 260 lbs and now 2 mnth 1 wk later Im down abt 15 ish lbs its hard bc I did gain abt 5 lbs back and relost it again.....and now at 244 ish lbs I fell just a little better.....I hope I can lose just a little more if not all of it.......Their only expecting me to lose 1 lb per wk x 4 wks =4 lbs per mnth x 6 mnths=24 lbs per 6 mnths.....Some surgeons want you to lose 10 lbs in 3 days and I have before but that was also hard.....I have 4 mnths to go I hope to lose at least another 5 at least.......I dont usually lose weight all that good but I got sick in the beginning of this.......I can do it if Im sick bc I go on a clear liq diet for abt 4 days sugar free jello and sprite but I got the calorie kind it could have been the zero kind........

I had my seminar Dec.14th,2012 ......I've had my labs done and rechecked and fixing to get them rechecked again in a few mnths....... I have a LITTLE LOW Sodium and the Doc. wants me to cut my WATER INTAKE BACK SOME LOL......Its hard for me to do that........anyways Im on mnth 2 wk1 of my 6 mnth diet so Im looking forward to at least Juneish my diet will be over with in May plus 14 days of the preop diet leaves me with at least june......if not June I need it in Aug. I cant do July unless its after the 4th for the preop diet because I go on vacation and dont know what I will be eating......or where were going.......No I haven't had my first consult yet but Im in No Hurry either.....I got most of my paper work done with..... The 6 mnth diet thing kinda sucks I wish it was only 3 but on the other hand my secondary is going to pay some on it and thats their requirements.......I will be GLAD when the preop liq diet is Over With and then surgery and then the postop diet and then HEALING UP GOOD and start to eat what Im suposed to learning how to eat and not drink w/ meals what I can and cant have and learning the measurements of what I can have and so forth....taking care of myself......

My inc company wont except weight watchers so if your does your lucky mine had to be a supervised 6 mnth diet within 1 yr I believe.......

My inc. Co. requires a 6 mnth diet Im on mnth 1.....Is anyone else on the diet....I already have my labs done,my phych eval......Now Im waiting on the nut. dr. I have also done the seminar.... My starting weight was 255 really 260 but I lost some weight before I got weighed.....anyways now Im 8 lbs lighter since the Nov.15th.....I weight 248 want the Onelander soooooo BAD.....

1st call your inc. to see if they require a diet 3/6 mnth mine is called a PILOT PROGRAM some secondary's are paying for wls now...2nd go to a seminar,get ur labwork done,PHYCH EVAL IF YOU NEED ONE some inc. require it...nutrienist probley a must,or a phone call aka diet call some require a support group meeting...check with your surgeon preop diet at least 10 days probley...their maybe more stuff that I dont know abt but I think this should cover most of everything....

Im going to my 3rd seminar tomorrow the 1st and 2nd one I didnt have surgery.....Long story,but now I am serious abt it I hope to have it in abt June-July 2013....I have to do a 6 mnth diet thing with my PCP first I got 5 more mnths left today is my 1 mnth diet check up I have done the dreaded phych eval last week so now I think all I like is the nut. dr. and a support group meeting and the surgery....I hope to have it all done with in 6 mnths....lap-band.....
