I had a 6 month wait, it was kinda nice sometimes to not feel rushed to get my appointments done. At times it seemed to drag but the last month flew by. Good Luck!

I had the 6mth diet too. I spent every day of that 6mths here on this forum learning from the best. The time went by really fast and it was a good feeling going into it knowing you've done everything possible to succeed. Read a couple books on LBS too.lol

Also during that 6mths I put into practice the LB rules and I truly believe it gave me a head start on success.

Wishing you the best on your journey.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Angela, Welcome to the forum! Your three months will go by really quick. Hope to see you around here a lot.

Like I told OP, you learn a lot her that Drs. forget to tell you.

Best Wishes on your journey to great health!

Try out some different protein shakes prior to having to use them. Get your diet started early and shrink your stomach now. Best wishes and Keep the Faith.

I am currently in the 6 month weight management class. I graduate feb 14th 2013. I started out in aug weighing in at 295 and now I'm 262 pounds. I love the classes. Good luck

I'm currently in the 6-month diet phase as well. My bariatric doc wants me to lose 20lbs before surgery so i decided toput the two requirements together. I have to say, I'm worried I won't lose enough by the end of the 6mo. I've lost more than 20 in the past (& gained it back) but this feels like my whole life depends on it! I'm determined to do it though. :)

Good luck to you & ill be looking out for your updates!
