I went to my seminar in jan. didn't have surgery until June....6 months for me! Good luck with everything!

I just went to mine last night. Have to do 3 months of supervised diet and meet with a nutritionist and a shrink. After that we can submit for insurance approval so i am hoping within 6-7 months i can be banded.

I had to do 6mth supervised diet, nutrition class& psych eval. Tomorrow my last PCP visit and everything gets submitted to insurance. The 6mths went by really fast.

Im going to my 3rd seminar tomorrow the 1st and 2nd one I didnt have surgery.....Long story,but now I am serious abt it I hope to have it in abt June-July 2013....I have to do a 6 mnth diet thing with my PCP first I got 5 more mnths left today is my 1 mnth diet check up I have done the dreaded phych eval last week so now I think all I like is the nut. dr. and a support group meeting and the surgery....I hope to have it all done with in 6 mnths....lap-band.....

I did going seminar last may 2012 with my mom and I'm still await for lapband but my mom got first lapband surgery few days
