Vitamins

Hi everyone... A lil concern on taking vitamins. I was sleeved on 4/1 and yesterday my surgeon gave me clearance to have soft foods. Everything was great up until today. This morning I had my "bariatric advantage multi vitamins chewables" and as I'm driving to my destination I had to pull over to throw up a lot :-( I composed n cleaned up myself because I had to be somewhere for a short period of time but once I got home to shower I've been feeling under the weather not sure why. I didn't eat prior to taking vitamins I didn't think it was necessary N I think I would have been more sick. What are u guys doing to take vitamins today was my first trial n I'm scared to try again

I started my Bariatric fusion Vitamins on the day that I returned from the hospital. They're about $25/month & include all the supplements that I needed. They're BIG, but not terrible to chew on for a bit.

My nut said take Flintstone complete (has iron and the one with no sugar) first 3 mos. I'm taking 1 twice a day so I don't upset my stomach.

Flinstone complete?

I have not had surgery yet but I have always had problems taking vitamins. They always make me so nauseous! Switching to a different brand and taking them at night made all the difference for me.

I also found coromega omega3 squeeze. They are pretty much everywhere and in an orange box orange flavored. No yucky fish taste and stevia sweetened.

I have to eat a little before taking the vitamins or I will get nauseous.

I tried having my vitamins right before bed time n no nauseous feeling nor throwing up. I might just finish my BA brand n try some of the other stuff u guys have suggested. Anyway what's important is that we get all our vitamins right!!! Not the brands that make us sick so hopefully BA won't give me a hard time in canceling their automatic refill program I started with them...

I started taking 3 gummy prenatal vitamins (walmart) a day...2 in the morning and 1 at night. Chewables of any kind made me sick no matter when or how i took them I threw up. I have been able to take the gummies with no problem at all.
