Good Bra...

Recommended Posts

Can anyone recommend a good bra?

I have one style from Fredericks that I have fell in love with. My problem is I have a B cup now (down from a C) and I have what I call "bat wings" under my arms (the side of my breasts) they seem to come out the top of whatever bra I have if the bands on the side aren't wide enough.

I have tried Victoria Secret's Gel Pushup bra and it's okay, but the girls need help. :help:

Thanks Ladies

I wear "Body by Victoria" full coverage. I tried so many bras when I "grew" out of the sizes that Victoria's Secrets carried and never found a bra that I liked.

I am so thankful that I can wear their bras again. The full coverage bras have wider support on the sides than most of their other bras.

Good luck!

Yes I know what you mean...I need some good bra's too I have been using for two years...needless to say they are threadbare and not much support. So please guys pass on some good brands...I need them too.

:D

A bigger cup size should fix that, it pushes that flesh forward and into the cup.

I need to buy a bra with a reasonably wide side too, I have those bits of flab as well. But no matter what the bra - if the cup size is too small you dont just get that fetching lump out the top at the front, it also spills out the sides.

You may even need a smaller back size in conjuction with the bigger cup size. Try it and see - you wont believe how small you can go in the back if you accommodated for it in the cup. I never would have believed I could fill an E cup after having lost 30kg.

Lane Bryant carries the Cacique stuff, and I LOVE one of the bras in that line. I bought 10 of them b/c it's all I will wear now. There's a fabric pocket inside the cup that holds what I call a chicken cutlet -- a small, shaped air cushion -- to give the girls a little lift. But it's completely removeable, and the bra is great without it. The cups have a lot of structure, no seams, and helpful padding. I cut the underwires out, and absolutely love them after that. :)

I also wear the Cacique brand from Lany Bryant. Best Bra I have had yet. Cuts out the back fat, and give lots of support. Go in and get measured.

My favorite bra right now is also a Cacique. I found a few at a Lane Bryant outlet store north of Everett WA, got a good deal.

Hum, I need to go shopping soon.

If Victoria's Secret has your size i would also suggest the body by victoria full coverage bra. Get the one that has the lightly shaped cups. It's my fav bra. At lane bryant i can never seem to find a size that fits me, i have the sales assoc. help but everytime i walk away empty handed. It seems that in their line the cup size increases as the band size does. So if you fit into the b cup when its a 38 band but you want say a 42 band that B cup has suddenly become enormous. They seem to think that all big women have big breasts. Goodluck in your Quest for the perfect bra!

I've looked at those Victoria's Secret bras online, cant buy them here in Australia. I am addicted to foam lined Tshirt bras in gorgeous colours! They are so prevalent in A to D cups here, but nothing larger, it all goes to black, beige and white. So they are a good bra?

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
