OMG.. Lmao, that cracked me up! I seriously thought armadillo was part of some type of new drink concoction. I think you're snockered!

He he, those apple fritters and maple bars are to die for. I was such a slave to the apple fritter pre sleeve. I don't go into the UW book store for donuts any more, but their coffee is so good. I would drive 30 minutes to just have their coffee. Mmmm. For those that are not in the area, trust me, we know what we are talking about in our little Seattle clique of sleevers.

Apple fritters are my fav too! I was never sure if it's because they're so yummy or if they were the biggest donut and I was a big pig and had to have the biggest anything

It is my thread so I do mind going off topic. The best apple fritters are from the Pike Place Market in a small bakery. They are called Texan apple fritters because they are the size of dinner plates. OMG. And you know how sometimes things taste worst the bigger they get ( e.g. a huge apple may look good, but inside is all grainy), not true of these fritters. They are awesome. One bite and you are in heaven. Lots of frosting and chewy dough parts with lots of apple flavor. Mmmm. Now see, I want one!

You would probably be mad at me if one showed up on your doorstep fed ex overnight. Might not even be stale by the time you get it!!

Too funny, Fid Man.. I was just at the Market last week and was drooling over those.. And the other Texas size donuts they have. Fortunately, I had forgot my wallet at home and only had enough to buy a healthy granola thingy and shared it with the kids I had that day. Oh.. And they have a second shop in Renton also. :D

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
