weekly scale challenge

Everyone is doing so well! You'd think it was springtime with babies and all the sunshine around here. Congratulations to all!

I am down 2 more this week. Hope it stays gone. I have 3 birthday dinners and Thanksgiving in 2 weeks time. I'm worried about that pumpkin pie, too --it's slippery stuff. As long as I keep making hats, I think I'll do all right. :)

Hi Veronica, Congratulations! I have a local band friend who just found out she is pregnant. She saw the fill doctor last week since finding out the big news and he said that for now he is going to keep her fill at the same and assess it every couple of months. Yours may not remove your fill either. I did hear about a banded girl pregnant with twins but haven't been updated on her situation in awhile. Best of luck to you.

I didn't lose this week either but still holding steady. I get the first fill wednesday. Hopefully with the flouro they can get it in there this time. Teresa

hey veronica... congratssssssss,,, i'm a labor and delivery nurse.... does your band have to be emptied???/ talk to your ob gyn and band md.... you may be able to do with and just eat small very"good" balanced and Protein packed meals.... without the band, i lost weight with both my pregnancies... because the baby was sitting high, it felt like i had the band... that was one of the reasons i got the band... i said if i could feel like i was pregnant with that ball pushing into my stomach, i would be able to loose weight..... best wishes... Ro

i ate frequent, but small meals...

Good morning everyone!! I am proud to report a wonderful 5.5 lbs gone forever this week! Yipee! I am however starting to get hungry. I'll hold my own this week for the festivities as I am still on mushies. Good luck to all of my fellow bandsters!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
